END FIRED ON A TURNTABLE

Had me some fun with an End Fired Array 3 elements moving the whole array from 0º on-axis to 180º of-axis in 15º steps. The mics where at 8 mt and 16 mt from the centre of the array (where the Sub 2 is).

I captured the Summed response (so Sub 1+2+3) and the solo response on Sub 1 Sub 2 and Sub 3 on both mic’s.

Below you’ll find some screenshots taken from Smaart at the 8mt mic. So Summed response would be the green trace. Sub 1 solo pink Sub 2 solo orange Sub3 solo in blue.

The screen capture below shows the basic alignment. Processing used is a Lake LM26 as matrix and setting the delay’s and a Linea 44M20 amp.
